Warning: This post contains spoilers from Beauty in Black season 3 from this point forward.
It's been a short wait since the second half of Beauty in Black's second season dropped earlier this year, but the hit Tyler Perry drama series is already back with a brand-new season. This time around, the Bellarie family chaos is heightened to the biggest extremes yet, and by the end of the third season, you will be begging for answers about who lives and dies that we can only get in season 4.
Thankfully, Netflix went ahead and prevented fans from being worried about the show's fate. The streaming service reversed its decision for season 3 to be the final season and formally renewed Beauty in Black season 4 this summer. Considering the high-stakes events and cliffhangers that have left our jaws permanently on the floor, that couldn't be better news.
Beauty in Black season 3 picks up in the aftermath of the season 2 finale, which found Kimmie, Mallory, and Horace teaming up to turn the tables on the family company in a big way. Their new alliance directly led to the arrests of Charles, Jules, Norman, Olivia, and Roy. Once again, the battles are brutal in season 3 and multiple characters' fates are left in the balance by the finale.

Who might not survive going into Beauty in Black season 4?
The biggest question fans will have after finishing their Beauty in Black season 3 binge-watch revolves around the possibility of major character deaths. In the final episode of the third season of the fates of Kimmie, Mallory, Horace, and Norman are all left ambiguous and unanswered, leaving fans wondering which of the major characters will live and which might die before season 4.
In the last sequence of Beauty in Black season 3 episode 8, the Make It Rain strip club becomes under attack by a deadly shooting that was planned by Jules. A pair of gunmen arrive at the club and begin a killing spree. While we see a number of club patrons being killed during the attack, Kimmie and Mallory's fates aren't clear. We know they are at the club, but they aren't shown during the shooting. It's possible that they were able to get to safety before the gunfire began.
Being so, we probably shouldn't be too worried about whether Kimmie and Mallory get killed in the season 3 finale since both Taylor Polidore Williams and Crystle Stewart appeared in the video shared by Netflix announcing the Beauty in Black season 4 renewal. That's pretty much a guarantee that their characters will return next season, though in what capacity apparently remains a mystery.

As Kimmie and Mallory's lives ended up under fire at the season's end, so were Horace and Norman's. Before the season's end, Mallory shot Norman when he entered her home seeking revenge, and she believed that she had killed her uncle-in-law. However, Norman wasn't actually killed, and when her father-in-law Horace showed up on the scene, Norman then shot his brother.
Neither of the Bellarie brothers' fates are confirmed by the time season 3 fades to black, but Horace was rushed to the hospital to tend to his wounds and Norman remained on the floor of Mallory's house. You could argue that even more characters' lives are left in danger, but Beauty in Black put four major characters directly in harm's way leading into the fourth season.
No wonder Netflix and Tyler Perry decided not to end Beauty in Black with season 3 after all with so much story left to tell after this finale. The fourth season premiere will have a lot of questions to answers, and let's hope we won't have to wait long to find out who makes it to season 4 alive. We'll have to stay patiently until the next season arrives, likely sometime in early 2027.
