Who remembers All of Us Are Dead? The Korean series that took Netflix by storm and made zombies feel way too close for comfort? From the very first moment the virus hits Hyosan High, the tension is off the charts. Classrooms become battlefields, hallways turn into traps, and friends you thought you could trust might not survive the next moment. This series is tense, shocking, and strangely addictive.

When Netflix dropped the first season back in January 2022, it became an instant hit. With so many people tuning in to see what the show was all about, it quickly became clear that All of Us Are Dead was a global sensation. While it took five months for the streaming giant to finally renew the popular series for a second season, fans were just happy that their favorite survivors would be back for more zombie encounters.

But here's when things went left. After the renewal announcement in June 2022, there hadn't been many updates about All of Us Are Dead season 2. There were rumors that production was supposed to start sometime in 2024, but filming didn't actually kick off until July 2025. This is also when we learned more details about the season 2 cast and its plot. However, we haven't heard anything else about the new season. Well, that's until now. There's finally an exciting update on All of Us Are Dead season 2, but there’s also a brutal catch that might make fans groan.

All of Us Are Dead season 2 will reportedly wrap filming in February 2026

This is the big update we have about All of Us Are Dead season 2. According to What's on Netflix, the second season will reportedly finish production by mid-February 2026. Given that it's currently mid-January, this means the show could be entering its final stretch of filming. However, keep in mind that this is just a rumor. Neither Netflix nor any member of the show's creative team has confirmed an official wrap date.

Since All of Us Are Dead season 2 has been in production since July 2025, it would make sense if filming were to wrap up sometime in February. That seems like a good amount of time for the cast and crew to be shooting the second season. It's the post-production process that we have to worry about. That's where things could take a while. Now, what about that brutal catch?

All of Us Are Dead season 2 could be pushed back to 2027

Sadly, this is what we fear at the moment. Why? Well, Netflix recently shared its official list of shows coming to the platform in 2026. While series like Beef season 2, Sweet Magnolias season 5, The Hunting Wives season 2, The Lincoln Lawyer season 4, and XO, Kitty season 3 made the cut, All of Us Are Dead season 2 was noticeably absent.

There's been a rumor circulating that the highly anticipated second season might be released sometime in December 2026. However, this rumor feels less certain now that the show has been left off the 2026 lineup. Perhaps All of Us Are Dead season 2 won't finish post-production in time for a 2026 release. Given the show’s intense visual effects, action-packed sequences, and complex zombie scenes, post-production could take longer than expected. A 2027 release would then make sense.

But wait! There's also a chance that Netflix might have purposely left All of Us Are Dead season 2 off the 2026 lineup. According to a Netflix press release about the 2026 series slate, the list “is not comprehensive." In other words, it does not include every single Netflix show that will come out this year. That said, All of Us Are Dead season 2 could still be on its way in 2026. There's a chance that Netflix is simply saving the official announcement for a later date. Fingers crossed!

We'll get back to you with more information on All of Us Are Dead season 2 as it is announced!
