XO, Kitty season 3 gets the exciting update we've been waiting for

Since its premiere in 2023, this popular Netflix series has remained on everyone's radar. With every new season, XO, Kitty has proven why it’s such a standout in the world of teen shows. It’s not just the humor or the romance. It’s the way the series captures the real ups and downs of growing up, the messy friendships, the awkward crushes, and all the little moments that make teenage life feel so chaotic and real.

After an incredible second season, XO, Kitty was renewed for a third installment in February 2025. Since then, we've been keeping tabs on every update, rumor, and announcement, eagerly waiting to see what’s next for Kitty and her friends. The last major update we had was that production wrapped on the third season. While that was already amazing news, now we've finally received the update we've been anxiously waiting for.

XO, Kitty season 3 is confirmed for a 2026 release on Netflix

It's really true, Netflix Lifers! On Jan. 7, Netflix unveiled its lineup of upcoming series for 2026, and guess what show was included? That’s right, XO, Kitty! Fans everywhere can finally breathe a sigh of relief knowing Kitty’s next chapter is officially on the way.

Now, are we totally surprised that XO, Kitty season 3 is coming out this year? Not really. The cameras stopped rolling on the third season in July 2025. Since then, the new episodes have been in post-production. For a show like this, it doesn't take that long to move from post-production to release. A 2026 release didn't seem far-fetched at all, but now we have confirmation.

The only unfortunate part is that we still don’t have an exact release date. While Netflix has confirmed that XO, Kitty season 3 is coming in 2026, we don't know when exactly fans will be able to tune in and catch all the new episodes. There's a rumor that the third season could come sometime in March. If a March release does turn out to be true, a release date announcement will likely happen soon. But again, this is just a rumor. We'll get back to you with the official release date once it's announced.

XO, Kitty season 2 left off with Kitty completely single. However, she does finally realize her true feelings for Min Ho. In a bold move, she asks to join him and his family on their summer tour, and he says yes. While they’re not officially a couple yet, this moment sets the stage for a potential romance in season 3. Anna Cathcart returns as Kitty, and Sang Heon Lee as Min Ho.

Joining XO, Kitty season 3 as newcomers are Sule Thelwell (Marius), Soy Kim (Yisoo), and Christine Hwang (Gigi).
