Bodies and the 3 best Netflix shows to watch (2 to skip) this weekend, October 20

This weekend, treat yourself to some great Netflix shows. The streamer has added 25 new movies and shows, including the limited series Bodies, a new season of Big Mouth, and the family-friendly I Woke Up a Vampire. Below is a list of some great shows to watch and two you can skip.

This week’s top Netflix shows list features many great shows you won’t want to miss: Mike Flanagan’s latest series The Fall of the House Usher, the docuseries Beckham, Mexican drama Pact of Silence, and the current season of Love is Blind. The Great British Baking Show is also back with a new season.

Bodies limited series

WATCH! The new limited series Bodies is an intriguing tale of murder based on the mind-bending graphic novel by Si Spencer. The series is a twist on the traditional police procedural where one body, the same body, is discovered in the exact location across four different timelines. The four detectives of each period investigate the murder only to discover all are linked.

Big Vape: The Rise and Fall of Juul

SKIP! Based on the same-titled book by TIME correspondent Jamie Ducharme, Big Vape: The Rise and Fall of Juul is a four-part docuseries chronicling the Juul e-cigarette. The company was innovative in the development and marketing of the product but would then come under scrutiny when teens began using Juuls. While this might be a topic some are interested in, there are many better choices of docuseries for this weekend. Skip it.

I Woke Up a Vampire season 1

WATCH! The new family-friendly series I Woke Up a Vampire is a fun Netflix original series perfect for the Halloween season. Awakening on her 13th birthday, Carmie discovers she has grown fangs. With the help of her best friend, they discover she is a vampire-human hybrid, a Vampling who possesses super speed and strength.

American Ninja Warrior seasons 12-13

SKIP! Seasons 12 and 13 of the sports entertainment reality show American Ninja Warrior are now available on Netflix. The series highlights the athletic abilities of the contestants who compete by doing their best to reach Mount Midoriyama at the end of the notorious obstacle course. This show isn’t for everyone so most viewers can skip this one.

Lupin part 3

WATCH! The third part of the critically acclaimed French mystery thriller Lupin was released early in October, and the series is still holding strong as one of the top-rated series on Netflix. The series follows Assane Diop (Omar Sy), a man orphaned as a child when his father, who was wrongfully imprisoned, dies by suicide. He sets out to avenge his father by going after the powerful Pelegrini family who framed him. Assane uses a book by Arsène Lupin to become a “gentleman thief,” honing the skills needed to take down the family who ruined his life.
