The show centers around Mia Polanco (Sophie Wilde), a teen girl who is sent to an in-patient treatment center after a close friend of hers confides in her parents about her severe eating disorder.

When the show starts, Mia has finally been discharged from rehab after a long seven-month stay, and she’s ready to get back to the real world and take back her life. But once she’s out and meets up with her old friends, she discovers they have experienced many firsts without her. Now determined to rebuild her own life, she creates a bucket list of experiences she wants to accomplish.
