From the producers of Sex Education comes a terrifying new British horror drama series revolving around a bunch of teenagers in the small town of Bolton, England who start using an alluring, but dangerous, social media app known as Red Rose. What happens when it’s not just your phone battery that could die from using an app, but the user, too?

Something of a cross between Nerve, Black Mirror, Countdown, and other miscellaneous horror films revolving around killer apps, Red Rose promises to be an engaging thriller centered on the age of social media and teenage phone addiction.

Those living in the UK might have already seen Red Rose as the series was originally released by BBC Three in August 2022 and became available via the BBC iPlayer. Netflix is handling the international distribution, so the rest of the world can start watching it on Wednesday, February 15.
