For those who love informational Netflix docuseries that will warm your heart and fill you with nothing with gratitude toward those who fight relentlessly to fight for the country, then we recommend checking out Heart of Invictus.

At the center of this 2023 release is Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan Markle‘s love for champions who went to the battlefield and came back transformed in a way that doesn’t impair them but empowers them. They may be physically unable to do the things they once did, but their hearts remain unchanged, which is why we join in to celebrate them.

Heart of Invictus release date

Save the date! Heart of Invictus is heading your way later this month! The title will release on Wednesday, Aug. 30, on Netflix.

On this date, the streaming service will release five episodes of the title, each being about an hour in duration, so be sure to have your popcorn (and tissues) ready for a great binge-watch session.

"The series follows a group of extraordinary competitors from around the globe, all service members who have experienced life-changing injuries or illnesses, on their road to the Invictus Games The Hague. The multi-episode series joins the competitors as they train, and along the way reveal powerful stories of resilience and hope. The series also follows the organizers as they work to prepare for the Games alongside each nation’s team, supporting the competitors as well as their friends and families."

The crew of this Netflix original includes tons of talented people, such as director Orlando von Einsiedel (The White HelmetsEvelyn, and Virunga) and producer Joanna Natasegara (Tigre GenteThe Edge of Democracy, and Sophie and the Baron).
