There’s no one more adventurous or brave than Puss in Boots! But that may be catching up to our favorite feline, as seen in Puss in Boots: The Last Wish. What’s the movie about?

The film initially came out in 2022 but has been streaming on Peacock following its theatrical release since it was distributed by Universal. However, because the film was produced by DreamWorks Animation, which has a deal with Netflix, The Last Wish is now finally streaming on Netflix!

Antonio Banderas and Salma Hayek reprise their roles as Puss in Boots and Kitty Softpaws, respectively. The remaining cast includes Florence Pugh as Goldilocks, Olivia Colman as Mama Bear, Ray Winstone as Papa Bear, Samson Kayo as Baby Bear, John Mulaney as “Big” Jack Horner, Wagner Moura as the Wolf, Da’Vine Joy Randolph as Mama Luna, Kevin McCann as the Ethical Bug, and Cody Cameron as Pinocchio.

Puss in Boots: The Last Wish synopsis: What is the movie about?

As mentioned above, we know the titular character is all about heroics. But while it’s an adventurous life, it’s also a dangerous one. While the courageous cat has nine lives, he’s used almost all of them up without even realizing it.

When he accidentally wakes a sleeping giant, Puss in Boots tries subduing him but gets crushed by a bell. When he wakes up in the hospital, the doctor recommends he retire. But this kitty is not ready to do that.
