There’s good news for you Shrek and Puss in Boots fans! We’re so happy to share that Puss in Boots: The Last Wish is officially making its Netflix debut. Who is the cast for the movie?

The film originally came made its theatrical debut in 2022, then went to Peacock for streaming. Thanks to a deal between the movie’s production company Universal Pictures and Netflix, now the production will be available to watch on the streaming giant. Mark you calendars for Thursday, July 13, 2023!

We’re so ready for all the adventure, and Puss in Boots is too. And this time, he’s going on a journey that might be the most important yet. As the funny feline discovers his adventurous side has caused him to go through eight of his nine lives, our favorite cat has to find the mythical Last Wish to restore his nine lives, per the synopsis.

Antonio Banderas returns to voice the titular character, as he’s done since Puss in Boots appeared in Shrek. Another familiar voice is Salma Hayek who plays Kitty Softpaws. Her character was initially introduced in the first Shrek spinoff movie. A whole host of new cast members like Olivia Colman, Florence Pugh, and John Mulaney lend their voices.
