Good Netflix shows you missed in 2023

Can you believe we’re over halfway through 2023 already? So far this year, we’ve seen so many good Netflix shows, but if you’ve been busy and haven’t had a chance to watch everything, we put together a list to make sure you’re caught up on all the good Netflix shows released this year so far.

We’ve seen some huge Netflix shows so far this year, including The Night Agent, Ginny and Georgia, You, and Outer BanksIf you need a new Netflix show to binge-watch tonight, check out some of our favorite Netflix originals below.

There are so many good Netflix shows coming out this year, including One Piece, Lupin, Bridgerton, The Witcher, Sex Education, and more. Unfortunately, none of those shows have been released yet.

As Netflix releases more shows, we’ll update the list to make sure you know which good shows you missed this year. We updated the list on Monday, August 21, 2023.

Let’s get the list started with a K-drama

1. The Glory

The Glory part 1 premiered at the very end of 2022 and introduced us to complex, fascinating characters like the lead, Moon Dong-eun (Song Hye-kyo). A psychological drama and revenge thriller, fans were breathless with anticipation for the second part of the series, which finally arrived this past March.

Even though The Glory has become one of Netflix’s top-performing non-English shows of all time, there’s a good chance you might have missed it if you don’t frequently check international Netflix Originals.

It would be a shame to skip this one because The Glory is a gripping drama anchored by sharp writing and phenomenal performances across the board, especially from lead actresses Song Hye-kyo, Lim Ji-yeon, and Yeom Hye-ran (who also stars in another K-drama on this list!).

Dong-eun is the former victim of brutal bullying as a teen. Since her years in high school, she has been meticulously plotting revenge against everyone who harmed her and will let nothing stand between her and her vengeance. Now an adult, Dong-eun is prepared to do whatever it takes to make the people who hurt her, and many others, pay.
