The spin-off to The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On premieres on Netflix on May 24, and we’re seeing many questions regarding it. Titled The Ultimatum: Queer Love, people are wondering if Nick and Vanessa Lachey will be the hosts of the show. No worries. We know the answer and shared it below.
The Ultimatum: Queer Love features five couples, made up of women and non-binary people, who find themselves at a crossroads in their relationship. While one partner is ready to walk down the aisle and get married, the other partner has their doubts.
The couples decide to participate in a social experiment where they will have eight weeks to determine if they want to tie the knot or go separate ways for good. To help them figure out if they want to commit, each will choose a new potential partner from one of the other couples and move in with them for three weeks. Once the three weeks are up, the participants go back to their original partners and decide whether they want to marry them, call it quits, or try dating another participant.
Nick and Vanessa Lachey hosted The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On as well as Love is Blind seasons 1-4. But did they sign on to host The Ultimatum: Queer Love too? Here’s what we know.
Who is hosting The Ultimatum: Queer Love on Netflix?
Surprisingly, Nick and Vanessa Lachey aren’t hosting The Ultimatum: Queer Love. Instead, talented actress JoAnna Garcia Swisher hosts the spin-off.
JoAnna is best known for her previous roles in Are You Afraid of the Dark?, Freaks and Geeks, Reba and Once Upon a Time. Besides the reality series, you can catch JoAnna as Maddie Townsend in the romantic drama series Sweet Magnolias. The third season is expected to come out by the end of 2023.
We weren’t expecting JoAnna Garcia Swisher to be the host of this reality series, but it was a pleasant surprise.
