Welcome to Eden season 2 cast and character guide: Who’s who in the Spanish thriller series?

Welcome to Eden season 2 is now streaming, and this season we see the return of most of the first season’s cast as well as some new faces. If you’re wondering who you can expect to see in the second season, we’ve got you covered by sharing a cast and character guide below.

Welcome to Eden season 1 introduced viewers to a group of characters who were invited to an exclusive party on a remote island, not knowing that the hosts have an ulterior motive for inviting them in the first place.

The first season ends with the protagonist, Zoa, faced with deciding whether to go through with her escape plan and leave the island or stay to protect her sister. Meanwhile, Africa accidentally activates an antenna and sends a signal to outer space while Charly safely makes it to the boat to leave Eden. There’s much to be explored in the second season, and we can’t wait to see how everything unfolds.

Amaia Aberasturi as Zoa

Zoa thought she was going to finally find happiness when she was invited to a party on a secret island called Eden. However, her experience turns out to be a complete nightmare when she wakes up after a wild night of partying to discover that her friend is missing and that she wouldn’t be returning home.

Zoa spends most of the first season mingling with the other islanders and trying to find a way to escape. In fact, she almost makes it off the island, but the arrival of her sister throws a wrench in her plans.

Berta Castañé as Gabi

Gabi is Zoa’s younger sister. She spends most of the first season trying to track down Zoa. At the end of the first season, Gabi finally arrives on Eden. But will she be reunited with her sister?

Belinda Peregrín as Africa

Belinda returns as Africa in Welcome to Eden season 2. Africa is a mega superstar and a successful social media influencer who is known as Afrilux by her followers. When Africa arrives on the island, she quickly grows close to Astrid and Erick, but Astrid begins to grow jealous of Africa when she suspects that Erick likes her. In the season finale, Africa becomes trapped in a secret room in Astrid and Erick’s apartment. We know someone will eventually find her, but what will happen to her afterward?

Tomy Aguilera as Charly

Charly may seem like the life of the party when he arrives on Eden, but actually, he still struggles with the death of his younger sister which he feels guilty about. While on the island, he befriends and ultimately forms a romantic connection with Eden Foundation level 3 member, Mayka. But this romantic connection doesn’t deter him from wanting to leave the island. At the end of the first season, Charly gets on the boat to leave Eden, but does he actually escape?

Diego Garisa as Ibon

Ibon is a gifted piano player who decides to go to Eden to escape his abusive father. While on the island, he becomes romantically interested in Eden Foundation member, Alma. At the end of the first season, he kills Ulsis by drowning him after he attacks Zoa. Will he be punished for what he’s done?

Carlos Soroa as Eloy

Eloy is a deaf member of the Eden Foundation. He has a close bond with Bel and was in a secret relationship with Orson. At the end of the first season, he helps Ibon dispose of Ulises’s body in the ocean. Will he be punished for helping Ibon?

Amaia Salamanca as Astrid

Astrid found the Eden Foundation with her husband Erick 15 years ago. She claims that they created the group to protect themselves and select people from the outside world since they believe climate change will soon destroy it. But we later learn that she and Erick have plans to travel to the “New Eden” with the other Eden Foundation members. It’s unclear where the “New Eden” is, though.

Guillermo Pfening as Erick

Erick is Astrid’s husband and co-founder of the Eden Foundation. At times, it can seem as if he’s Astrid’s lap dog. When Africa arrived on the island, Erick was assigned as her “link” which ultimately led to them becoming closer. Obviously, this upset Astrid but Erick constantly reassured her that nothing is going on between them. In the season 1 finale, Erick is staying at Isaac’s module still recovering from being stabbed.

Begoña Vargas as Bel

Bel is an Eden Foundation member who eventually becomes romantically interested in Zoa after she becomes her link. She’s also close with Eloy. Bel doesn’t agree with the Eden Foundation’s methods so she and others are planning a rebellion. At the end of the first season, Zoa invites Bel to escape the island with her, but Bel turns down the offer because she wants the help the others escape as well. However, she does assist Zoa with her escape plan.

Sergio Momo as Nico

Nico is an ambitious Eden Foundation member who wants to rise up the ranks. He was Zoa’s first link when she arrived on the island but was later replaced by Bel. He doesn’t like Bel because she likes Zoa as well, so they’re constantly vying for Zoa’s attention.

Lola Rodríguez as Mayka

Mayka is Astrid’s loyal right-hand woman. She’s a level 3 Eden Foundation member and works with all the tech on the island. Once Charly arrives on Eden, Mayka starts to quickly develop feelings for him but finds it hard to accept her feelings because of her job. At the end of the first season, Mayka watches as Charly makes it to the boat to leave Eden, but she doesn’t report him to Astrid or Erick.

Welcome to Eden season 2 new cast members

Carlos Torres as Joel

Carlos plays a new character in Welcome to Eden season 2. He plays Joel, a level 2 Eden Foundation member who serves on the security team on the island. Previously, Joel served in the army. He and Eva knew each other when she first joined the Eden Foundation. Joel and the rest of the security team are sent to the island after the mysterious death of Ulises to find out who the killer is.

Lucía Guerrero as Danae

Technically, Danae isn’t a new character. She was introduced in season 1, but she didn’t play a big part in the season. She is Joel’s second in command and is sent to Eden to assist in finding out who killed Ulises.

Nona Sobo as Som

Som is a new character in the second season. She’s one of the guests who get an exclusive invite to a party on Eden, not knowing that she won’t be going back home. She and Gabi are roommates on the island. Astrid wants Som to stay on Eden for a specific reason and it’s related to Som’s dad.
