The second season of All American spinoff series All American: Homecoming landed on Netflix on April 11 after its March 27 finale on The CW. Not long after its arrival on the streaming service, the fan-favorite college drama series climbed into the top 10 TV shows ranking.

While fans will have to wait a while longer for All American season 5 to join its spinoff on Netflix, fans are loving getting to dive into All American: Homecoming season 2 and all of its dramatic twists and turns. This 15-episode season featured so many memorable moments!

As of its arrival on Netflix, The CW hasn’t announced the fate of the series and whether All American: Homecoming season 3 could be in the cards. That means, fans will just have to savor their binge-watch until that fateful news drops from the network.

During your binge-watching of All American: Homecoming, you might be wondering where the series was filmed and if the central HBCU in the show is real. Does the drama series really film in Atlanta at a real college campus? Here’s what fans need to know about the show’s filming locations!

Did All American: Homecoming really film in Atlanta?

The series takes place at Bringston University in Atlanta, Georgia, but don’t go thinking you can follow in Simone’s footsteps and attend the college. Bringston University is fictional! In fact, the All American spinoff doesn’t even film in Georgia. Instead, they make Los Angeles look like Atlanta.

According to IMDb, All American: Homecoming films at the Warner Bros. Studios lot in Burbank, California on Stage 29. Clearly, the talented crew uses the magical of television to trick our eyes into believing a backlot in California looks like a college in Atlanta.

All American has used El Camino College in Torrance, California to stand in for Golden Angeles University. It’s entirely possible that Homecoming could have used the same college campus or a different for certain exterior shots of the cast. Additionally, it’s also likely that the series utilizes establishing footage of Atlanta to further enhance the setting.

Both seasons of All American: Homecoming are currently available to stream on Netflix!
