Don’t miss out on all of the excellent Netflix shows the streamer offers this weekend. With that also comes the release of a long list of new titles as we enter April. This week, you can check out great titles like Unstable, Emergency NYC, Wellmania, and more, but there are a few titles you can skip for now.

Unstable season 1

Watch! The new original comedy features Rob Lowe and his son John Owen Lowe as an estranged father and son. The series follows Ellis, an eccentric biotech entrepreneur, and his son Jackson, who is the complete opposite. Jackson tries to help his father save his company while escaping the shadow of his larger-than-life father.

Emergency NYC season 1

Skip! This series might not be for everyone. It is a gritty, raw docuseries that looks at the life of New York’s frontline medical professionals. While for some, this may be an inspirational look at the heroes who work in the medical profession, for others, it may be a bit too traumatic to endure the struggles and triumphs of helicopter flight nurses, transplant surgeons, paramedics, pediatric trauma surgeons, and neurosurgeons.

Who Were We Running From season 1

Watch! Netflix knows what it is about when it comes to book adaptations, and this series is no exception. The latest crime thriller to come from the streamer will keep viewers engaged as it follows a mother/daughter duo on the run who live in hotels and view each person they encounter as a threat. The mother’s dark secret follows her wherever she goes while she stops at nothing to keep the secret hidden.

Unseen season 1

Skip! This South African crime thriller series is a remake of the Turkish series Fatma. So, if you were a fan of that series, you may want to watch this one. But for others, this one can be skipped or at least skipped this weekend. As with the original, the pilot episode has some plot holes that may be resolved later but makes it feel like this one can be put on hold for now.

Wellmania season 1

Watch! The new dramedy Wellmania takes a hard but comedic look at life on the cusp of your 40s. When Liv makes a trip to her hometown in Australia, she experiences a health scare that makes her reevaluate her life. Her current wild lifestyle saw her living like she was still in her 20s, and she must make some drastic changes to improve her health.
