South Park was created by Trey Parker and Matt Stone and developed by Brian Graden. The first season premiered on Comedy Central in August 1997 and it’s still ongoing. In fact, the show was renewed through to season 30 in August 2021. So fans of the adult animation can continue to expect to see new episodes until at least 2027.

The show is set in the fictional town of South Park, Colorado, and mainly follows the misadventures of four young boys named Stan, Kyle, Kenny, and Cartman. It’s known for its excessive use of profanity and dark humor, so it’s definitely not a show that will be entertaining to all audiences. But once you become a fan, you’re pretty much a fan for life.
