Sweet Magnolias season 3 latest release updates (February 2023)

Now that it’s February 2023, it’s nearly spring and you know what that means: It’s almost time to return to Serenity! Sweet Magnolias season 3 will be on its way to our watch lists sooner rather than later. (But hopefully, it’s released sooner!)

The second season of the hit romantic drama series premiered in February 2022, meaning we’re coming up on the one-year anniversary of our last trip to Serenity, South Carolina. When we last left the titular Sweet Magnolias, the drama had reached an all-time high.

Maddie’s relationship with Cal became even more complicated amid his mounting anger issues, while Helen’s own love life came to a jaw-dropping crossroads. We’ll be getting answers and so many more twists and turns in Sweet Magnolias season 3.

Unfortunately, the third season of Sweet Magnolias won’t premiere on Netflix in February 2023. The streaming service announced the complete list of new movies and shows coming this month, and it’s not among them. However, when have an idea of when it will premiere this year!

Sweet Magnolias season 3 latest updates February 2023

While Sweet Magnolias season 3 won’t make its premiere on Netflix in the same month as its second season, the new episodes are expected to be released in spring 2023. The first season dropped in May and the followup in February. Season 3 should arrive between March and May 2023.

Filming on the upcoming season wrapped back in October 2022, which means that the post-production process began by the end of last year. This process can take up to six months for Netflix shows, bringing the finish line to either March or April 2023.

Even though we would have definitely preferred Sweet Magnolias season 3 to debut in February, which would be perfect for Valentine’s Day, we’ll have to wait a bit longer. Expect the next 10 episodes of the fan-favorite series to make a comeback in April or May. With any luck, Netflix should announced more details about the season sometime soon.
