2023 looks to be the year for anime on Netflix. We’ve already seen the return of some good Netflix anime series at the top of the year. And we still have tons more Netflix anime expected and confirmed to be coming out throughout the rest of 2023!

What’s even better is that Netflix has also licensed some popular anime. For example, we started off the year with the release of two seasons of Kimi ni todoke: From Me To You on Jan. 1. It’s an anime based on the hit Japanese shōjo romance manga of the same name by Karuho Shiina. Fans were elated to find out that the show would be available to stream on Netflix, especially since the live-action series was slated to come out in March 2023. Additionally, we saw the release of the first 30 episodes of the mid-2000s anime series Monster on the first day of the year.

Since there’s so much Netflix anime to look forward to in 2023, we decided to compile a list of all the anime series and movies that will arrive on the streamer throughout the year. However, it’s important to mention that the streaming giant hasn’t handed out release dates for all the shows and films just yet. But of course, you can count on us to share them once they’re announced.
