Fans of the Netflix mega-hit Wednesday are all still celebrating the news that the streamer officially renewed the teen drama for a second season. The highly anticipated news came one week ago today, and we’re all just relieved to know the story is for sure continuing. Star Jenna Ortega got to celebrate by attending the Golden Globes this past Tuesday, Jan. 10, where she was nominated for Actress in a Musical or Comedy TV Series for her portrayal in the Addams Family series.

Unfortunately, Ortega lost out on the award but we’re sure she was just ecstatic to be invited, let alone nominated. The 20-year-old star attracted a ton of buzz that night, not only for her drop-dead-gorgeous gown, but also for the date on her arm.

The video above received comments about the way the two look so comfortable around each other, with many noting the placement of White’s hand on Ortega. One compared the two to celebrity couple Zendaya and Tom Holland in their early days when they kept their romance hush-hush. Others simply think the two actors probably have a crush on each other but aren’t convinced they’re boyfriend-girlfriend.

On the other hand, some commenters think fans are just reading too into it, reminding everyone that Ortega and White can be just friends without dating. To make matters more complicated, J-14 published a report this week claiming the Wednesday actress left a Golden Globes after-party with The Fabelmans star Gabriel LaBelle. An eyewitness told the site that there was “certainly a vibe” between the two. Of course, this could merely be gossip, but it’s something to note.
