Netflix announces Elite season 7 renewal (and Omar Ayuso’s return to the series)

Ahead of the release of Elite season 6, Netflix has quietly shared the news that the Spanish-language show has been renewed! That’s right — the story of the Las Encinas high schoolers is far from over now that we know Elite season 7 is in the works. We have so many questions leading into the sixth season so it’s hard to even imagine what the next installment after that will look like. But one thing’s for sure. We can expect a lot more drama to come.

Though Netflix has not shared an official announcement on Elite season 7, we spotted the show’s official Instagram account sharing big news. Not only has the page confirmed the popular teen drama is renewed, but they’re also sharing the cast list! Spoiler alert: We’re going to meet a new batch of fresh faces. But don’t worry, the seventh season won’t be all new cast members. As confirmed today, Omar Ayuso will reprise his role as Omar Shanaa!

We can’t wait to see what’s in store for us next with Elite season 7. But of course, we’ve probably got a ways to go for that. We still have Elite season 6 to get through, which will be premiering on Nov. 18. Get ready for more chaos as we learn Samuel’s fate and so much more.
