The Midnight Club cast guide: Guide to the Netflix show’s cast and characters
The Midnight Club is finally streaming on Netflix. It’s horror genius Mike Flanagan and Leah Fong’s new Netflix series that follows a group of teenagers with terminal illnesses at Brightcliffe Hospice. Every night, they gather together at midnight to tell each other scary stories. They even make a deal, vowing that whoever dies first will be responsible for communicating with the group from beyond the grave. But then one of them dies, and strange things start to occur.
It’s based on the 1994 novel of the same name and other earlier works by Christoper Pike. If you’re a fan of Flanagan’s other Netflix shows, such as The Haunting of Hill House, The Haunting of Bly Manor and Midnight Mass, then you should definitely check out The Midnight Club.

Iman Benson as Ilonka
Iman portrays the role of llonka in the show. llonka had dreams of attending Stanford University before finding out that she had thyroid cancer. However, this doesn’t stop her from living life to the fullest. Her determination to survive the terminal illness leads her to Brightcliffe Hospice, where she hopes she’ll find a way to recover.

Igby Rigney as Kevin
Igby plays Kevin, a patient at Brightcliffe Hospice who has leukemia. Kevin is charming and is always supportive of his family and friends. He’s caring and often puts his needs last. When llonka meets Kevin, they quickly form a connection.

Igby is known for his roles in Blue Bloods, F9: The Fast Saga and Midnight Mass.

Ruth Codd as Anya
Ruth portrays Anya, a sharp-tongued, rebellious patient at Brightcliffe Hospice. She’s a lower-leg amputee wheelchair user from Ireland. Although she may portray herself as tough and cold on the outside, she actually cares deeply for those around her.

Ruth made her acting debut in The Midnight Club.

William Chris Sumpter as Spencer
William portrays Spencer, a patient at Brightcliffe Hospice who has HIV. He’s brought to Brightcliffe after Mark finds out he’s been kicked out of his conservative parents’ home for being gay. Spencer is considered the life of the party in the group.

Aya Furukawa as Natsuki
Aya plays Natsuki in the mystery-horror series. Natsuki is a patient at Brightcliffe Hospice who has ovarian cancer. She struggles with her mental health and experiences something very traumatic before entering Brightcliffe.

Annarah Cymone as Sandra
Annarah plays Sandra, a patient at Brightcliffe Hospice who has lymphoma. Sandra is very religious and uses her faith to help her cope with her terminal illness. Due to her religious beliefs, Sandra often butts heads with other patients. However, she does actually care for the group.

Annarah is a newcomer to the entertainment industry. She’s known for her role as Leeza in Midnight Mass.

Sauriyan Sapkota as Amesh
Sauriyan plays the role of Amesh, a Brightcliffe Hospice patient with glioblastoma. Amesh was the new patient until llonka arrived. He’s the goofy one out of the group, a video game nerd, and always willing to help others.

Adia as Cheri
Adia plays Cheri, a patient at Brightcliffe Hospice. Cheri comes from a wealthy background, with both of her parents successful in their crafts. But once Cheri receives her terminal diagnosis, her busy parents cannot take care of her, so they send her to Brightcliffe. She’s very secretive, which isolates her from the other patients.

Matt Biedel as Tim Pawluk
Matt plays Tim, llonka’s kind-hearted foster dad. Tim wants the best for his daughter and is hesitant to send her to Brightcliffe Hospice at first, but is willing to do whatever it takes to make llonka happy.

Heather Langenkamp as Dr. Georgina Stanton
Heather portrays the role of Dr. Stanton, the mysterious doctor who runs Brightcliffe Hospice. She found Brightcliffe after losing her son to a terminal illness. Heather was born on July 17, 1964, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, making her 58 years old. She’s in no way new to the entertainment industry and is best known for acting in a popular horror film franchise.
Where have you seen her before?
Heather is known for her role as Nancy Thompson in the horror flicks A Nightmare on Elm Street, A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors and Wes Craven’s New Nightmare.
What’s next?
Heather has a role in a short film titled The Magic Shop and a role in a crime drama called Plea. However, these films do not have release dates, so it’s unclear if they’ll ever come out.

Zach Gilford as Mark
Zach plays Mark, one of the nurse practitioners at Brightcliffe. He was born on Jan. 14, 1982, in Evanston, Illinois, making him 40 years old. He’s also married to Lost actress Kiele Sanchez, and they share a beautiful daughter.

Zach is best known for his role as Matt Saracen in Friday Night Lights and his role as Riley Flynn in Midnight Mass. He also had roles in The Purge: Anarchy, Good Girls and L.A.’s Finest.

Samantha was born on March 24, 1979, in Los Angeles, California, making her 43 years old. She’s known for starring in many of Flanagan’s projects.
