Mike Flanagan movies and where to stream them
By Renee Hansen
Mike Flanagan is well known for the horror films that he writes, directs and edits. He has been a partner in Intrepid Pictures since 2019, which was founded by Trevor Macy and Marc D. Evans in 2004. Flanagan’s latest Netflix original series Midnight Mass will release on Sept. 24, but fans are curious where they can view his other films.
When Flanagan joined Intrepid Pictures, a deal was also struck with Netflix. The multi-year overall TV deal will see Flanagan and Macy produce new series exclusively for the streamer.
As a child, Flanagan moved around often due to his father’s position in the United States Coast Guard. But he was born in Salem, Massachusetts, and even though his time there was brief, it made an impression on him. This is where his interest in the Salem witch trials, ghosts and horror fiction originated.
Flanagan is known for collaborating with the same people repeatedly. Who can blame him? It seems that everything he is involved in is a success. Names he has worked with the most times include James Flanagan, Catherine Parker, Kate Siegel, Henry Thomas, Michael Fimognari, The Newton Brothers and Trevor Macy.
