It’s officially October, so it’s not surprising Netflix has a brand-new Mike Flanagan show that’s about to drop. Coming off the success of The Haunting of Hill House and The Haunting of Bly Manor, the horror filmmaker then switched gears to release Midnight Mass last spooky season, an original story that’s seriously chilling. His latest release, The Midnight Club, is based on the YA book of the same name written by Christopher Pike, along with other works by the children’s author.

The Midnight Club is a teen show, but it’s still creepy enough to get you in the Halloween spirit. And the cast is really great. Of course, if you follow along with Flanagan’s works, you’ll know he frequently collaborates with the same actors. His wife, Kate Siegel, has been in almost all of his shows and movies, and The Midnight Club features familiar faces such as Samantha Sloyan, Zach Gilford, Rahul Kohli, and more.

If you’ve watched the trailer for The Midnight Club or already started watching the 10-episode series, you might be wondering, is Kate Siegel in this show? Though she isn’t part of the main cast, she might be spotted somewhere in the series…

Kate Siegel makes a cameo in The Midnight Club

According to Flanagan himself, Siegel will appear in The Midnight Club, but her role is so small you might miss it. As reported by Collider, the Doctor Sleep director took to Twitter to share with fans that Siegel was busy filming for The Time Traveler’s Wife on HBO Max so she couldn’t have a main role in his new show. However, she was able to film a small cameo that’s apparently “VERRRRRRRY small.”

Flanagan also teased that there are other hidden cameos in The Midnight Club, so eagle-eyed fans will have to be on the lookout while watching!

Prior to The Midnight Club, Siegel and Flanagan have worked together on movies Oculus, HushOuija: Origin of Evil, and Gerald’s Game, as well as shows The Haunting of Hill House, The Haunting of Bly Manor, and Midnight Mass. Up next, Siegel will appear in her husband’s adaptation of The Fall of the House of Usher on Netflix.

Stay tuned for updates on The Fall of the House of Usher, and in the meantime be sure to check out The Midnight Club when it hits Netflix this Friday, Oct. 7.
