Uncharted starring Tom Holland is coming to Netflix in July 2022

If you need a little more Tom Holland in your life and Netflix watch list, a new movie featuring the talented actor and action star will be arriving in July 2022. Uncharted, the latest blockbuster from the man otherwise known as Peter Parker, is bringing some adventure to our summer.

Based on the series of action-adventure video games from Sony and PlayStation, Uncharted stars Tom Holland as Nathan Drake, and bartender and pickpocket, who’s approached by Victor “Sully” Sullivan (Mark Wahlberg) to join him on his quest to find the treasure of the Magellan expedition.

The film was released in theaters on Feb. 18, 2022 and received mixed to negative reception to critics, but that didn’t stop the adventure flick from grossing over $51 million over the opening four-day holiday weekend, the biggest opening of the year so far.

Thankfully, fans that missed out on the film during its theatrical run will have a chance to check it out on Netflix, thanks to the deal Sony signed with the streamer. A number of Sony films will start hitting Netflix this summer, and one of the first will be Uncharted in July.

When is Uncharted released on Netflix?

According to What’s on Netflix, Uncharted will start streaming on Netflix on July 15, 2022. The movie is confirmed to stream in the United States, with other territories around the world to be confirmed at a later date.

Per Sony’s deal with Netflix, Uncharted will call Netflix a temporary streaming home for just over a year, 18 moths to be exact. Following this period of time, the film will then shift to Disney’s streaming services, hitting either Hulu or Disney+ or perhaps both.

When the hit action movie drops on Netflix this summer, it will join another of Holland’s starring roles. While there aren’t a ton of his projects available to stream on the service, we’re hoping more will start streaming in the future. Here are the Tom Holland movies on Netflix:
