Shrek is an animated fantasy-comedy movie directed by Andrew Adamson and Vicky Jenson. It’s the tale of an ogre who is outcasted by society, and one day finds his home overrun by a myriad of strange-looking mystical creatures who have been banished by Lord Farquaad. A deal is made so that Shrek can be free of these creatures and regain his privacy and comfortability in being alone, but only in exchange for the trapped away Princess Fiona. Shrek meets Donkey on the way, and the unravelling of the tale of friendship, adventure, love and various life lessons begin.

The first Shrek movie was released over two decades ago, in 2001. Since then, there has been Shrek 2 which was released in 2004, followed by Shrek the Third which was released in 2007, and finally, Shrek Forever After, released in 2010.
