Sometimes, you come across an actor and are instantly in awe of their talent. This is how many people feel about Jodie Comer. She’s simply everyone’s new obsession and a big deal, if you ask me. I mean, she has an Emmy Award and was nominated for a Golden Globe. Jodie Comer is a certified star who will only become bigger and more famous.

If you need more convincing on why you should fangirl/fanboy over Jodie, just know that she’s also a queen of accents like Saoirse Ronan. Sadly, Killing Eve is on its final season, and soon fans will have to say goodbye to Jodie’s character, Villanelle, the psychopathic assassin. But look on the bright side. Jodie is now a free agent, so we can see her take on more roles and fall in love with her even more.

Although I’ve only just become aware of Jodie after seeing her star in the spy thriller Killing Eve, it didn’t take long for me to speed through her entire filmography. The amazingly talented actress has some pretty solid content under her belt.

Below, we shared some of the best Jodie Comer movies and shows that you should add to your watchlist right now. We also made sure to include where you can watch the listed content.

The Last Duel is one of my favorite movies starring Jodie Comer. It’s a historical action drama film based on a book titled The Last Duel: A True Story of Trial by Combat in Medieval France by Eric Jager. The story is set in medieval France and is about Sir Jean de Carrouges, a knight who challenges his former friend, squire Jacques Le Gris to a duel after Jean’s wife, Marguerite de Carrouges, accuses Jacques of raping her.

Jodie plays Marguerite de Carrouges and she gives a stellar performance. The entire cast did an amazing job, but Jodie definitely steals the show.

Matt Damon, Adam Driver, Ben Affleck, Alex Lawther, Nathaniel Parker, Clive Russell, and Harriet Walter also star in the film. You might recognize Harriet Walter from Killing Eve. She plays Dasha, a high-ranking assassin for The Twelve in the series.

Killing Eve is one of my favorite television series ever! The show came out in 2018 and has built a huge fanbase over the years. The Chair‘s Sandra Oh and Jodie Comer portray the leading roles as Eve and Villanelle. The story begins with Eve, a security services operative tasked with hunting down the psychopathic assassin, Villanelle. As the chase progresses, Eve finds herself in a game of cat and mouse with Villanelle, and both women become obsessed with each other.

Fiona Shaw, Kim Bodnia, Owen McDonnell, Sean Delaney, Darren Boyd, Kirby Howell-Baptiste, and many others star in the British spy thriller series. Just a heads up, the cast drastically changes over the seasons. But most of the main cast remains.

The first two seasons of Killing Eve received critical acclaim. Jodie and Sandra were praised for their performances and have won several awards.

The fourth and final season is currently airing, and the last episode is expected to air on April 17, 2022. It’s never too late to join the rest of us in watching one of the best TV shows ever.

If you’re looking for a good comedy film to watch, we recommend checking out Free Guy. The movie is about a bank teller named Guy (Ryan Reynolds) who discovers he’s a non-player character in a popular video game called Free Play. Along the way, he meets Millie (Jodie Comer), a human player looking for a source code to her original game. They must work together to save the game world from being destroyed.

Joe Keery, Lil Rel Howery, Utkarsh Ambudkar, Taika Waititi, Channing Tatum, and many others are also a part of the cast.

Free Guy received positive reviews from critics and viewers alike. The film grossed $331.5 million worldwide and even received an Oscar nomination. There’s also a sequel in development!

Doctor Foster is a drama series that premiered on BBC in 2015. It had a series run of two seasons and ended in 2017. The drama series has won several awards, but the accolade that stands out the most is the British Academy Television Award for Best Actress, won by the leading actress Suranne Jones in 2016. Doctor Foster was also nominated for a British Academy Television Award for Best Mini-series in 2016.

The story follows Gemma Foster (Suranne Jones), a general practitioner who begins to suspect that her husband (Bertie Carvel) is having an affair. Jodie Comer portrays Kate Parks, a young university student who has been secretly having an affair with Gemma’s husband.

Doctor Foster doesn’t stray away from the drama. So if you’re looking for a show to spice up your weekend, add this series to your lineup. I promise you won’t be disappointed!
