Is Killing Eve on Netflix?

After several acclaimed seasons, Killing Eve will come to an end in 2022 with a fourth and final season. The decision comes after a delayed start on the show’s fourth season which was initially announced in January 2020 but delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

From the moment the series first premiered in April 2018, Killing Eve has become one of the most-talked-about dramas and a critical darling during Awards Season netting an impressive 19 Emmy nominations to-date. It’s also been a hit among audiences, with a solid 87% Audience Score on Rotten Tomatoes where the show’s latest season was summed as “a fiendishly delightful showcase for Jodi Comer and Sandra Oh’s killer chemistry.”

What is Killing Eve about?

Based on Luke Jennings’ Villanelle novels, Killing Eve tells the story of a British Intelligence operative Eve Polastri (Sandra Oh), whose obsession and intrigue in female assassins, particularly their psychologies and methods of killing, leads her into a game of cat and mouse with international assassin Villanelle (Jodi Comer).

Is Killing Eve streaming on Netflix?

While Netflix is home to several beloved dramas, Killing Eve is not currently available to stream on Netflix at this time. It is unclear why the series is not streaming on Netflix as Netflix has managed to land the streaming rights to several fellow BBC and BBC America originals including Broadchurch and Peaky Blinders just to name a few.

Although Killing Eve is not available to stream on Netflix, the series is currently available to stream online via another popular streaming service: Hulu. Currently, all three seasons of the BBC America drama are streaming on Hulu which is expected to also land the show’s fourth and final season when it debuts in 2022.
