Netflix shows we’ll miss in 2022

In 2021, we saw a great deal of Netflix shows canceled or coming to an end. One of the shows that came to an end and hit many viewers hard was LuciferLucifer had garnered a following when it was on Fox, but once it moved over to Netflix, the fantasy series quickly became one of the best Netflix original series ever. No, scratch that. It is one of the best television series ever!

We know that all of our favorite shows will eventually come to an end. We just want a little more time. However, sometimes ending a series is the best decision to make. Many times Netflix shows are given season after season, and they start to become trivial and boring. This wasn’t the case for Lucifer, but we’ve seen it happen.

Then, there were shows that didn’t get the opportunity to really shine. The first season of a show is released, and fans don’t hear from the series until it’s canceled. Sometimes the reason for the cancellation is obvious (low viewership), but other times it just doesn’t make any sense.

Now that we’re in the new year, we can’t help but think about some of our favorite shows that we won’t be seeing this year. So, we’ve created a list of five Netflix shows we’ll miss in 2022. Maybe some of the series on our list you haven’t watched before. And in that case, we recommend adding them to your watch list.

Let’s get the list started with Lucifer!

Netflix shows we’ll miss in 2022: Lucifer

Seasons: 6

Created by: Tom Kapinos

Starring: Tom Ellis, Lauren German, Kevin Alejandro, D. B. Woodside, Lesley-Ann Brandt, Scarlett Estevez, Rachael Harris, Kevin Rankin, Tricia Helfer, and Aimee Garcia

We’ve mentioned how much we love the fantasy series above, but we’ll never stop singing the praises of Lucifer. It’s an incredible show that will instantly steal your heart after watching just one episode.

When I first read the title, I thought I knew what the series would be about: The devil dragging people to hell. But, boy, was I wrong! Lucifer has a unique and intriguing premise, and somehow the show continued to push the envelope as the seasons went by. Not once did I feel like the fantasy series was getting repetitive or boring.

We also have to give props to the amazingly talented cast. They brought each character to life and made viewers fall in love with the show all over again. Everyone’s performance in the series was brilliant.

Also, there was excellent character progression for every character. In every season, the stakes were raised, which helped give the characters more depth. As we watched the characters go through multiple obstacles, we also saw them fight their way through them and grow. This is important for character development.

And the chemistry was off the charts, especially between Chloe and Lucifer. I miss hearing Lucifer call Chloe “Detective” and seeing the facial expressions she’d make afterward. The side characters’ love stories are just as exciting to watch as well.

Overall, the fantasy series took viewers on a wild ride that they’ll never forget. Lucifer will be greatly missed by many people, and it’ll forever remain one of the best TV shows ever.
