Sweet Magnolias season 2 spoilers: Who was in the car with Kyle?

Sweet Magnolias season 1 was filled with many memorable moments, but there is no denying the moment that kept fans talking throughout the show’s extended hiatus was the car accident that occurred in the final moments of the season 1 finale.

In the finale, Kyle and Nellie decided to spend prom night at her house playing video games. The pair were having a good time until Jackson and his friends — including Tyler and CeCe — crashed their party and quickly spiraled from there.

After Tyler and Jackson began fighting, Kyle attempted to step in which led to the two brothers exchanging words. Kyle then stormed out of the house with Tyler’s keys in hand, prompting the others to chase after him.

As the season came to a close, Maddie and Dana Sue received at the scene of a car accident after getting a call from the police. We’re informed that Kyle got into a car accident and see him being pilled out of the car and placed onto a stretcher while being informed a second person was in the car!

The identity of the passenger was left a mystery, but fans finally learned the identity of Kyle’s passenger in the season 2 premiere — and boy was it a shocker!

Who was in the car with Kyle on Sweet Magnolias?

In the Sweet Magnolias season 2 premiere, we pick up right where we left off as the Sweet Magnolias search for answers on prom night after following the ambulance to the hospital. As Maddie, Dana Sue and Helen frantically attempt to get answers, in walks Tyler, Annie and Jackson — effectively confirming the trio were not in the car with Kyle. So just who was in the car?

As we find out, it was Jackson’s sister Nellie who ended up getting in the car with Kyle on prom night and who was the mystery victim of the car accident.

Did anyone die in the Sweet Magnolias season 2 premiere?

Although the car accident which occurred in the season 1 finale seemed quite serious and fans were left to fear the worst over the extended break, the Sweet Magnolias season 2 premiere confirmed that everyone involved in the accident made it out alive.

Sure, both Nellie and Kyle suffered some serious injuries in the accident, but both characters pulled through and made full recoveries over the season.
