Best Netflix original series 2021: On My Block

You just had to know we were going to add On My Block to our list of the best Netflix original series of 2021. On My Block is one of Netflix’s top teen series, and when the fourth and final season landed on Netflix on Oct. 4, fans were ready to see how this story would come to an end.

Was there tissue involved while watching the final season? You betcha! So much happened in On My Block season 4, but things mostly wrapped up nicely by the end. Finally, fans got to find out Lil Ricky’s identity. However, we were in disbelief by the character deaths in season 4. We wanted to believe that all the beloved characters would make it to the end of the series, but that just wasn’t the case.

I guess the final season couldn’t be all rainbows and unicorns. There had to be some conflict to keep the plot interesting. But, overall, the fourth season was a good series conclusion, and we could never forget the core four!

Fortunately, there’s a spinoff series in the works called Freeridge, so we haven’t seen the last of the On My Block world.
