Why It’s Overrated: If y’all wanted sex scenes, there are so many other places to go for them. You don’t have to watch a show that lacks substance to the point that when the characters aren’t having sex (which does happen a lot), the plot and interactions between the characters is pretty boring and stale.

Like, when Time Magazine says your show is “so bad it’s funny,” you know something went wrong. It also doesn’t help that it has a 23% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. Clearly, I’m not the only one who thought this show was… lacking.

Which makes me wonder why Netflix decided to renew it for a second season. What more is there? I mean… It’s based on an autobiography. They can only take so much from someone’s life. And the writers didn’t do great things with the first season.

I actually did have hopes for this one too. I loved Sarah Shahi in the shows she’s been on in the past, but this just… did not live up to anything I was hoping for. It’s not even a fun “guilty pleasure” watch. It’s just meh and when a show is about a character’s sex life, that’s the last thing you want it to be.
