Unsolved Mysteries
Release Year: 2020
Directed by Shawn Levy
Unsolved Mysteries is a docuseries revived by the original creators and the producers of Stranger Things. Netflix’s Unsolved Mysteries is a modern take on the classic series that maintains a chilling feeling that the fans of the original love. Each episode focuses on a single mystery, and viewers are encouraged to help investigators resolve the long-standing cases. The revival doesn’t have host Robert Stack or any host for that matter, but instead, people associated with the case retell the mysterious story for the audience.
Each story brings a new and unique experience like a loved one’s unexplained disappearance or death to the shock of a paranormal encounter. That was always part of the Unsolved Mysteries appeal that the show could go from a very serious cold case to a supernatural mind-bender in the
blink of an eye. Yet, everything seemed to fit together. Netflix’s Unsolved Mysteries is a great docuseries to start with if you are in a scary mood!
There are currently two seasons of Unsolved Mysteries streaming on Netflix. It’s renewed for a season 3, which should premiere next summer in 2022. You have plenty of time to catch up on the series this Halloween season and you will experience plenty of chilling and scary moments.
