Squid Game

Viewers can’t get enough of this strange new series. Netflix released Squid Game on Sept. 17, and it is already No. 1 on the Top 10 list. This survival drama series consists of nine episodes.

The Korean drama series features 456 people competing in a survival game for a $40 million prize. The contestants receive a mysterious invitation to join the fun, and each person has a different reason for needing the money. Each game they are required to play is a traditional Korean kids game with a twist; if you lose, you die.

Fans of the series have enjoyed it so much they can’t wait to find out if there will be a second season.

Midnight Mass

Midnight Mass is the new Netflix original series from Mike Flanagan, who also created The Haunting of Hill House and The Haunting of Bly Manor!

The series stars Kate Siegel, Zach Gilford, Kristin Lehman, Samantha Sloyan, Igby Rigney, Rahul Kohli, Annarah Cymone, Annabeth Gish, Alex Essoe, Rahul Abburi, Matt Biedel, Michael Trucco, Crystal Balint, Louis Oliver, Henry Thomas, and Hamish Linklater.

We shared the synopsis for the series below, via Netflix:

"MIDNIGHT MASS tells the tale of a small, isolated island community whose existing divisions are amplified by the return of a disgraced young man (Zach Gilford) and the arrival of a charismatic priest (Hamish Linklater). When Father Paul’s appearance on Crockett Island coincides with unexplained and seemingly miraculous events, a renewed religious fervor takes hold of the community – but do these miracles come at a price?"
