Love on the Spectrum

The second season of the romance docuseries Love on the Spectrum has recently been released on Netflix, and fans have already pushed it into the Netflix Top 10. The new season has six episodes and once again follows a group of young adults on the autism spectrum as they seek love in the dating world.

New singles will join some of the cast from season 1 as they learn about dating and relationships. The season 2 trailer shows some new and familiar faces as well as what you can expect from this season. The cast shares some quick thoughts about what they are experiencing in the series, and it is heartwarming to see their excitement and emotions so openly expressed.

One of the cast members puts it perfectly when he says, “Love is the most chaotic force.”

This show celebrates love and our differences, which is what makes the world go round.

Monsters Inside The 24 Faces of Billy Milligan

Netflix’s new documentary Monsters Inside: The 24 Faces of Billy Milligan is a chilling look into the life of Billy Milligan. In the late 1970s, Milligan had committed several felonies and was then arrested for sexually assaulting multiple women on The Ohio State University campus.

While preparing his defense, he was diagnosed with multiple personality disorder.  His lawyers used as his defense, claiming one of the personalities committed the crimes, not Milligan. This true-crime series is a four-part look at the crimes, his exams by mental health professionals and the criminal defense that hinged on the other personalities being the ones who committed the crimes.

And, it worked. He is the first person to use that defense and the first to be acquitted for this reason instead of spending years in mental hospitals. You can also read about this life and story in the novel The Minds of Billy Milligan by Daniel Keyes.
