There are a lot of villains our beloved Pogues face off against in Outer Banks season 2, but no one group gives the Pogues more trouble than the Cameron family. Across season 2, Ward, Rafe and Rose Cameron serve as the key foils to our heroes picking up right where they left off in season 1.

As the main villains to John B and the Pogues, the Camerons prove once again in season 2 that they’re willing to do anything necessary to get what they want, no matter the cost. At this point, the list of crimes and heinous acts committed by the Cameron family is too long to recount and it looks like the Camerons will continue to wreak havoc in season 3 should the show return.

While there is no denying Rafe and Ward are the worst of the worst, Rose Cameron is quickly climbing the ranks of villainy with the character taking a more active role in her family’s crime spree in season 2.

Rose’s presence in season 2 has many wondering who exactly is behind the character, as she truly plays the role to perfection. So who plays Rose Cameron in Outer Banks? Below we share everything you need to know about the actress behind the character and what’s to come as we look ahead.

Rose Cameron Outer Banks actress

Rose Cameron is played by actress Caroline Arapoglou, who originated the role in season 1 and is expected to return for season 3 should Outer Banks be renewed.

In addition to playing Rose on Outer Banks, Cameron is also credited as playing Winnie Kline in four episodes of Stranger Things. Ironically, Rose Cameron isn’t the first Rose Arapoglou has played, as she previously played Rose in The Walking Dead.

Is Rose Cameron in Outer Banks season 2

Rose Cameron is very much a part of Outer Banks season 2 with the character taking on a much larger role in the show in season 2. Much like her husband Ward and son Rafe, Rose is one of the season’s villains and a key antagonist to the Pogues.

While in season 1 Rose seemed to mainly take a back seat in letting Ward do most of the dirty work, season 2 saw Rose taking a much more proactive role in keeping the Camerons’ villainous streak going strong going as far as to drug and kidnap her own daughter, Sarah, at one point in the season!

Does Rose Cameron die in Outer Banks season 2?

While Outer Banks season 2 did see a few shocking deaths, Rose Cameron was very much alive when we left her in the season 2 finale. Much like Ward and Rafe, we fully expect Rose will be back for season 3, where she’ll surely continue to cause trouble for anyone in her and her family’s way.

Outer Banks season 2 is available to stream now on Netflix.
