There’s a new Stranger Things season 4 teaser! As expected, the new teaser raised more questions and only seemed to answer a few of the questions we have about season 4. Unfortunately, we also didn’t get the release date for the new season yet.

In the teaser trailer, it appears we were transported into Eleven’s memories where she’s reliving what happened to her at the Hawkins National Lab. We’ve been here before, but this is a much more in-depth look at a room inside the Hawkins National Lab, also known as the Rainbow Room.

We shared what we know about the Rainbow Room below. Unfortunately, the Duffer Brothers and the creative team are really good at keeping things secret, so we don’t know much yet. But, you know that we will!

What is the Rainbow Room?

The Rainbow Room is a room in the Hawkins National Lab. Up until the season 4 teaser, we didn’t know much about the room other than it was a place where Eleven and some of the other children at the Hawkins National Lab spent time together.

After watching the teaser today, it’s clear this area was some type of recreation room where the kids would play games and interact together.

We didn’t get to see the whole room yet, but we did see different parts of the room. It looks like there’s a big rainbow painted on the floor. There’s a table where a few people are playing chess.

We also get to see Dr. Brenner walk into the room. We know this means Matthew Modine is playing the character again in season 4, but we still don’t know if these are only flashbacks or if we’ll see Brenner and Eleven meet in the current timeline.

Expect to see a lot more of the Rainbow Room in Stranger Things season 4 when it hits Netflix in, likely, 2022. Stay tuned for more information about the new season.
