We have a new teaser for Stranger Things season 4, which means every fan is once again off to the races speculating on what the next exciting installment of this series will be about.

Season 3 left fans with an assumed new beginning. The presumed death of Hopper put Eleven in Joyce’s custody, bringing her into the fold of the Byers family who left Hawkins behind. But, as fans were shown last year, Hopper isn’t dead, and now it’s clear that no matter where Eleven goes, Hawkins National Laboratory will haunt her.

We know this thanks to two teasers released with over a year between them. “From Russia with love…” put fans onto Hopper’s location in a cold, snow-covered Russian work camp, presumably the same one that’s home to a demogorgon being held at the facility.

“Eleven, are you listening?” is the latest teaser to drive speculation into overdrive. With this teaser comes the possibility that we’ll be meeting some of the other lab kids in season 4 as well as getting the awaited return of Kali. We’re also hoping this means El will get her powers back in this season.

Stranger Things season 4 teasers

Now that we have two teasers, each captioned “001/004” and “002/004” respectively, we think we’ll only have to wait for two more teasers before the official trailer is dropped. A fan took this theory to the Stranger Things Twitter account and their emoji eyes response could be a cheeky confirmation.

If this is the case, then it’s possible we could see a teaser focused on The Hellfire Club in the lead up to the official trailer release. The Hawkins High D&D club has been teased since 2019 with its name serving as the title for the first episode of season 4.

We know that the club will serve as the audience’s introduction to Eddie Munson (Joseph Quinn), the leader of The Hellfire Club, whose likeability is dependent upon who you ask. A teaser focused on the group could give the audience a glimpse at the mystery Eddie will be at the center of.

As for a second option, it wouldn’t be out of the realm of possibility for fan favorites Steve and Robin to have their own teaser or be paired with Jonathan and Nancy to check in on our older young adult crew. What they’ll be up to, however, is anyone’s guess, but most likely going through the motions of work-life before something strange and unusual once again impedes their 9 to 5.

With more news pouring in about Stranger Things season 4, you’ll definitely want to stay tuned to Netflix Life as we bring you the latest updates on the series.
