5 times the Lucifer proved to be good

Those who watch Lucifer on Netflix know the handsome Devil all too well. He’s not a bad guy at all, he is simply misunderstood. Okay, a bit of a rebel, sure, but aren’t we all?

One thing’s for sure, Mr. Morningstar never asked to be the keeper of Hell. He dreads the job. And who can blame him? It’s such a daunting and depressing task, who wouldn’t rather party in Los Angeles instead?

As fans watched the pilot episode for the first time, we all carefully observed as we weren’t sure what to expect. Luci gets out of a traffic ticket in the first scene, but he does so without violence. No one gets hurt. His intentions are clearly not to harm anyone.

Still, we continued to watch and get to know the Lux nightclub owner. And, to be honest, it didn’t take long at all for us to simply adore him. We want him protected at all costs! Not only that, but Deckerstar quickly became endgame for audiences.

When you get to know Lucifer, you realize he’s actually very relatable. More so even than most heroes. This is because Luci’s an anti-hero who, more than anything, just wants to be left alone to live the life of his choosing, not his father’s. And, you know, sin a little here and there.

So not that we need any proof that the Devil is good, but let’s remember the Devil’s best and most selfless good deeds just because we love him.

Why Lucifer is a selfless angel

5. Consent matters

From day one, Lucifer tried to get Chloe in bed with him, to the point to where it started to become a little annoying. It’s what he did best. Women and men just find Lucifer irresistible, so he couldn’t believe Chloe continued to turn him down. So imagine our surprise when Luci is the one who turns down Chloe!

Well, it’s only a bit surprising because Chloe is drunk. And we know that Lucifer knows better.

Men, take note! Lucifer is all about consent, as all men and women should be. Sleeping with a drunk Chloe would be wrong on so many levels, but he would never do that.
