Netflix is adding 16 new movies and shows this week

A new week is here and that means lots of new movies and shows on Netflix. Whether you’re looking for a new reality show, a new Netflix sci-fi series, or a family comedy with Jennifer Garner, Netflix has a little something for everyone.

Ready for a new reality show to binge-watch? Marriage or Mortgage hits Netflix on Wednesday, March 10. The premise: participants must pick between their dream wedding or their dream home. Which would you pick? I’m going with a house, but with all the bills that come with a house after you buy it, I can completely understand someone picking a wedding.

The One and Yes Day coming to Netflix this week

More in the mood for a new sci-fi series? The One comes to Netflix on Friday, March 12 and follows a DNA researcher who discovers a way for someone to find their soul mate by using their genetic material. As a result, the researcher creates an app to help people find love. But, as with any time science gets too involved in issues of the heart, things do not go as planned.

The series stars Stephen Campbell Moore, Olivia Chenery, Lois Chimimba, Albano Jerónimo, Eric Kofi-Abrefa, Dimitri Leonidas, Diarmaid Murtagh, and Jana Pérez.

Looking for something a little more family-friendly? Yes Day hits Netflix on Friday, March 12. Starring Jennifer Garner, Edgar Ramírez, Jenna Ortega, Fortune Feimster, June Diana Raphael, and Leonardo Nam, the movie shows what happens when two parents give their kids a “yes day.” This means they can’t say no to anything their kids ask for or suggest. Things are bound to get out of control!
