Selection Day is an Indian sports drama based on the book by Aravind Adiga.

Radha and Manjunath are the product of their sports-obsessed father who is determined to shape them into the next great cricket batsmen. After years of competing on local teams, the brothers move to Mumbai in the hopes of being picked to play for one of the leagues during selection season. While there, however, Radha and Manju meet their match, Javed, and contend with players just as good as them if not better.

The German historical drama Barbarians became a hit on Netflix in 2020. The post-apocalyptic sci-fi drama Tribes of Europa may follow in its footsteps as it launches viewers 54 years in the future to the year 2074.

Torn apart by a global catastrophe, Europe is little more than warring factions vying for land and resources. When siblings–Elja, Liv, and Moses–come across a mysterious cube, the three suddenly find themselves in the middle of a feud. The three hail from the Origine, a peaceful tribe, but when they’re forced apart, the siblings find themselves not only on different paths but perhaps even disparate sides of an ongoing war.
