Next is the beloved, yet unrequited, Joyce Byers and Jim Hopper. While the couple has never officially professed their love for one another, the affection is clearly there. The two have incredible chemistry. They are always bickering at one another and getting into horrific situations as they explore the mysteries of the Upside Down.

Sadly, they didn’t get together before [spoiler] Hopper’s hinted death in Stranger Things 3 and prior to that, she was dating a sweet guy named Bob. After standing Hopper up for dinner, Joyce finally commits to another date but that’s cut short by Hopper getting trapped in the gate to the Upside Down.

It has been hinted at that Hopper isn’t truly dead but even if that is the case, Jopper has had a gut-wrenching and tragic relationship arc— however, that’s the tease that makes them so alluring.

The most classic pairing of Stranger Things: Mike Wheeler and Eleven.

They’ve been totally shippable since season 1. It’s clear that they are the spotlight of the show and things *really* starting heating up in season three. Mileven has had their ups and downs, like remember the time that Mike thought Eleven was dead? Or that time Eleven dumped Mike after he lied to her? But they prevail above all of that, remaining one of the most resilient couples in the series.

Even Millie Bobby Brown, the actor who plays Eleven, thinks so. In an interview with Glamour UK, Brown shared her dream ending for the two. She said:

"“She [Eleven] loves Mike – I want them to get married. That’s what I need. I need a wedding scene for Stranger Things, period.”"
