For those who love musicals, Jingle Jangle is the next of the Christmas movies on Netflix on this list. If you haven’t checked it out yet, where have you been? This is a great story for everyone in the family.
When a toymaker’s apprentice steals the toymaker’s plans, the toymaker decides to quit. He can’t come up with anything after that betrayal. However, the toymaker’s granddaughter isn’t going to let him give up completely.
It’s a story of passion and of courage. The good will always win, but only if you’re willing to think ahead and do something to help yourself. It also has an outstanding cast and a lot of music you’ll find yourself wanting to sing along to. You’ll learn the words eventually.
A Christmas Prince
What about when it comes to rom-com movies? There are plenty of them on Netflix, and one of my favorites is A Christmas Prince. Yes, having iZombie star Rose McIver as the lead of the movies is certainly one of the big reasons why.
It’s perfect for Hallmark movie fans. The storyline is pretty standard and easy to guess, but that doesn’t mean it’s a waste of time. It’s one of those movies that you can snuggle up under warm blankets with a hot chocolate with and just relax. Sometimes, that’s all you need on Christmas Day!
There are three movies in the franchise (so far). Spend the day watching all three. Older kids in the house may want to watch with you.
