What is The Office cast doing now?

The Office is sadly leaving Netflix in 2021. While everyone binge watches the series one last time, you may find yourself wondering where the cast members are now.

Most of the cast are staying busy with acting jobs, and several are active on social media.

But in case you haven’t stayed up-to-date on their careers, we shared a list of where The Office cast is now.

Steve Carell (Michael Scott)

Steve Carell is the much loved, goofy regional manager of Dunder Mifflin Scranton. Carell’s career skyrocketed during and after his time on The Office. But let’s discuss what he’s up to right now. One of Carell’s most consistent roles is voicing Gru in the Despicable Me movies. There’s a second Minions movie coming out in 2021, Minions: The Rise of Gru.

Carell starred in the lesser-known film, Irresistible, which is written and directed by Jon Stewart. His character is Gary Zimmer, a Democratic strategist helping a veteran mayoral candidate run in a small, conservative town. Irresistible is a comedy and drama, so it may be a good fix if you need some new laughs from Carell.

Carell’s current TV shows include Space Force, which Netflix recently renewed for a season 2, and The Morning Show on Apple TV. His personal life is going well too. Carell is still married to Nancy Carell, who played Michael Scott’s realtor and girlfriend Carol.

John Krasinski (Jim Halpert)

John Krasinski is the lovable prankster of The Office, Jim Halpert. Like Steve Carell, he’s been relatively busy after his role on the show. Earlier this year, Krasinski started a YouTube show called Some Good News. He brought many smiles to our faces during the pandemic, especially when he decided to throw a virtual prom for high school seniors. But the project was a bit short-lived and ended in May 2020. ViacomCBS purchased the web series after a bidding war. Krasinski is staying on as an executive producer, and future episodes will stream on CBS All Access.

Krasinski has starred as Jack Ryan in the show Jack Ryan for three seasons, one of Amazon Prime’s most-watched shows. Prime renewed Jack Ryan for a fourth season, so Krasinski’s role as the daring CIA Analyst continues. He also directed The Quiet Place Part II, starring actress, and wife Emily Blunt.
