Every year, this is always a rough post. Popular Netflix movies and shows leave the streaming service every December as licensing agreements and streaming rights expire. Well, it’s happening again; more big shows are leaving Netflix.

This is an especially bad end of the year purge at Netflix. There are some seriously good and even great Netflix movies and shows leaving the streaming service. I can’t stress how painful this post is to write. I hate breaking bad news to TV and movie fans. It’s hard enough as it is out here with all the cancellations and major production delays, along with everything else going on with the pandemic.

7. Nurse Jackie

Nurse Jackie is leaving Netflix very soon. Luckily, you have almost until the end of the month to watch the series before it leaves Netflix.

The series premiered on Showtime in 2009 and ran for seven seasons through 2015. Edie Falco stars as Nurse Jackie in the series. The series follows Jackie’s time at the hospital, her home and romantic life and more. This show is no Grey’s Anatomy! 

All seven seasons of the series and 80 episodes are on Netflix now. If you want to watch this series before it leaves Netflix, you should start soon. There are roughly 80 hours to watch before it leaves!
