Virgin River season 3 renewal announcement confirms (SPOILER) is alive

It looks like Jack is alive in Virgin River season 3

There are spoilers below for Virgin River season 2.

Virgin River is officially renewed for season 3 at Netflix. We knew that the show was coming back, but the fate of one of the main characters in the series is very much in question after the Virgin River season 2 ending.

In the final scene of the season, Mel finds Jack on the ground and bleeding out in the bar. He has a gunshot wound, and things are not looking good.

We don’t know if he’s alive or dead when the season ends, and it’s been a subject of debate among fans of the series.

Overall, I think we knew that Jack wasn’t going to die. Not this way, at least. There’s a chance he could be killed off later in the series, but I think we all knew that he was going to survive.

Well, it seems like Netflix has confirmed that Jack is alive with the season 3 renewal announcement. Check it out below!

Obviously, Netflix is not going to include Henderson in the Virgin River season 3 announcement if he’s going to die because of the final scene of the second season. They would include Breckenridge in the announcement, but they’d leave Henderson’s death to be revealed in season 3.

So, while Netflix didn’t officially confirm Henderson’s character is alive, we’re assuming Jack is still alive. It just makes too much sense!

We still don’t know who shot Jack in season 2. That will likely be revealed in season 2. We have some theories about who shot everyone’s favorite character in the series.

It looks like season 3 is coming to Netflix in 2021. We don’t know when exactly yet, but it’ll likely be in November or December 2021.
