4. Dexter

Last Day to Watch: Dec. 30

Dexter starring Anthony Michael Hall is leaving Netflix very soon. Netflix recently announced the series will leave the streaming service on Dec. 30. You have time to watch the full series before it leaves Netflix, no problem.

It’s unclear where to watch the series after it leaves Netflix.

This exit especially hurts because Showtime just announces Dexter is getting another season. The series is coming back for season 9, likely, in 2021, and it will polish up that horrid series finale.

It’s unclear if Dexter will be on Netflix again after season 8 comes out or if you’ll have to subscribe to Showtime to watch the new final season of the series.

3. The West Wing

Last Day to Watch: Dec. 24

The West Wing is officially leaving Netflix on Christmas Eve 2020. Merry Christmas to all you West Wing fans.

The West Wing, created by Aaron Sorkin, has been on Netflix for years, so it’s a real bummer to see this series go. It doesn’t seem to be a super popular show on the streaming service, but it was a big hit during social isolation and quarantine during 2020.

The West Wing is distributed by Warner Bros. TV, so it’s likely that the series and all seven seasons and 156 episodes are headed to HBO Max soon.
