The Crown season 4 introduces Diana Spencer to the world
The Crown season 4 premieres on Sunday, and we’re all looking out for the glitz and glamor that is about to come. And that will, especially when it comes to the wedding to Prince Charles and Diana Spencer.
Princess Diana is one of the most infamous members of the modern-day Royal Family, and not just because of her tragic death in 1997. She quickly became the public’s favorite, even after her divorce from Charles in the 1990s.
During The Crown season 4, we’ll get to see more of that story. We’ll have a chance to see what happened behind closed doors. Diana always said there were three in the marriage and it didn’t work, and now we’ll see it all play out.
Who will play Diana, Princess of Wales on The Crown season 4?
Getting the right actress was always going to be important. Emma Corrin is stepping into these iconic shoes. It’s a huge role, but she certainly looks the part from the promotional photos.
Corrin is relatively new to the acting scene, starting out professionally in 2017. She’s had some guest and recurring roles on TV shows, but The Crown season 4 is going to be her biggest to date. This is her chance to get her name out there, and the trailer certainly has us excited.
Who will play Princess Diana in The Crown season 5?
What about the changeover that is coming in season 5? Who will take on this iconic role? Will Corrin remain in it?
Corrin isn’t going to keep the role. According to BT, Elizabeth Debicki is going to take on the role. This is during the 1990s, and we’ll see Diana up to her death in 1997 probably during the fifth season. That could be pushed into the sixth season, but it’s unlikely.
Dominic West is rumored to be Prince Charles, but nothing has been officially confirmed just yet.
