The Crown season 4 will be here before we know it. Of course, we all want to know the stories that the show will focus on for the season. The biggest question for many is whether Princess Diana will appear.
Diana Spencer is the world’s beloved Princess of Wales. Everyone knows what happened to her in the end, but it’s easy to forget the earlier stages. There was pressure from the public and the press. The Royal Family expected her to change to fit in. There are a lot of things that happened behind closed doors that the public has no idea about, and now it’s time for The Crown to delve into as much as possible.
Oh yes, Princess Diana is a part of The Crown season 4. Emma Corrin will take on the iconic role, and fans of the late Princess of Wales can’t wait to see how Corrin does in the role. She certainly looks the part from the promotional material.
What will The Crown season 4 cover?
The Crown season 4 will start in 1979 and end in 1990. This should tell you a lot about the storylines to come for Princess Diana.
We’ll meet her as Diana Spencer. She becomes the woman viewed as perfect to become Prince Charles’s wife. However, he is interested in a certain Camilla Parker Bowles.
Charles will be forced to do what is viewed as being right for the Royal Family and the Crown. He has no choice, very much like how so many others have had no choices. Well, choices that they’re not willing to make.
As for Diana, she’s not going to fit the mold of Princess of Wales perfectly. She will for the people, but not for the Royal Family. And if she doesn’t bend, she will break. At least, that’s Princess Margaret’s view.
The Crown season 4 will take us through Diana and Charles’s courtship, wedding, and marriage. We’re not getting the divorce yet, but we will see the fractures in the marriage and the births of William and Harry.
The Crown season 4 will be on Netflix on Sunday, Nov. 15.
