It’s a Christmas rom-com about a congressional aide who looks into something called “Operation Christmas Drop.” Congress is looking to save money, and this is what’s going to be cut. Will she say that it needs to be saved or not, and will she fall in love along the way?

Another of the must-see movies on Netflix is also from the first-of-the-month drop. Easy A stars Emma Stone as Olive, who lies to her best friend about losing her virginity. At first, it makes her the most popular girl in school, but rumors and lies can lead to major problems. And that’s exactly what is happening here.
It’s an excellent teen comedy and more than worth the watch if you’ve never seen it before.
The Endless Trench
Known as La trinchera infinita in Spain, The Endless Trench is set in 1936 Spain, just at the start of the civil war in the country. Higinio is a Republican who has spoken out about Franco’s army and the government. When he fears he will be killed for his actions, he goes into hiding under the floor of his house.
He and his wife hold onto hope that the Republic will win, but what if it doesn’t? What will happen to the family then?
