Silver Linings Playbook won over critics and audiences alike with its $236.4 million worldwide gross against a $21 million budget and 92% Rotten Tomatoes score. The film landed eight Academy Award nominations, including Best Picture and Best Director, though Lawrence won the sole Oscar for Best Actress.
