Stranger Things season 4 officially resumes production

It’s official! Stranger Things is officially back in production for season 4! The restart of Stranger Things season 4 production has been confirmed by a number of outlets, including What’s on Netflix.

Netflix has not officially confirmed filming has resumed.

We’ve heard rumblings the past few weeks that season 4 would resume filming again on Sept. 28, but there were no guarantees with the COVID-19 pandemic.

It’s great to know that the cast and crew are back in Atlanta working on one of Netflix’s biggest shows! As far as Stranger Things is concerned, it was pretty quiet while the cast and crew were away but things were not quiet for one of the cast members.

Millie Bobby Brown starred in the highly anticipated film, Enola Holes which released on Netflix on Sept. 23, 2020. Not only did she play Enola, but she was also a producer of the movie. Enola Holmes is the no. 1 film on Netflix right now with Millie resuming filming on Stranger Things. We’re also hoping to see Enola Holmes 2 soon!

Season 3 of Stranger Things left us with so many questions! One of the biggest ones was answered back in February when a teaser was dropped that let us all know that Hopper is indeed alive! Even though that was the biggest question, we still don’t have answers to a couple of pretty big concerns.

Remember, the last time we saw Eleven, her powers were non-existent. Also, she along with the Byers were on their way out of Hawkins but we have no idea where to.

I’m positive those questions will be answered pretty quickly in season 4!

When will Stranger Things season 4 come out?

That’s the main question people want answers too.

David Harbour said in an interview earlier in the year, that if things had stayed on track with filming, season four would have been released in early 2021. Well, unfortunately, that’s not the case.

Generally, Stranger Things takes about six months to film and about six to eight months to release after production wraps up. We know that they have already filmed about a month and a half worth of season 4. Based on that timeline, I would say we could see Stranger Things season 4 around Christmas 2021. But who knows. COVID-19 is something we haven’t seen before so when it comes to how things will operate and release, it’s very well unknown.
